Experiments with the Tamron 18-300mm travel zoom

In preparation for our summer travels, I have invested in a Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Lens for Fuji. This super zoom is a bit of a quality compromise, but I am hoping it will make it easier to get shots, while travelling without having to change lenses in the field.

Below are a few samples from a quick walk in the woods near our local reservoir.
