St Paul’s Without the Walls – POTD

[singlepic id=2782 w=640 h=480 float=center] Taken at St Pauls outside the walls in Rome. This image won Photograph of the Day on the 18th. Big Al said Position is all-important in the taking of a scene. Most ‘snappers’ would stand in the middle of the corridor to get a picture.

Rialto Bridge “Painting”

Sometimes images just won’t work, this was taken against the sun early in the morning and although the details were there it was difficult to get a good exposure. Working it through PhotoMatix produced a reasonable standard shot, but I decided to take it further and use a painterly effect.
