Splosh – Pick of the day

Managed a POTD at Photography Cafe with this one. Taking Water drop photos has been great fun.

As part of week 3 of T189, we needed to experiment with stopping and blurring images, using exposure times, so this weekend we experimented with water droplets and hundreds of shutter presses later ended up with a couple of images.

A day in the gardens

On Saturday we went down to Abbotsbury for a Real Gardeners Meet. We had a good day and I was pleased with the photographs I produced despite the rather flat grey weather. You can see some more of the results in the Abbotsbury Gallery

Getting started on T189

First of many I hope, the first task was to take 3 photos of a bottle in 20 minutes. I was pleased with the lighting and textures on this one.

Sand Point

[cpg_imagefixnormal:549] Yesterday we went up to Sand Point near Weston-Super-Mare, the brown sand stretched away from the rocky out crop, the strong wind made it difficult to stand up, but it was great to get out in the fresh air and to get a shot or two.
