French Rain – POTD

It was pouring with rain in Villefranche-sur-Mer and we got really wet, as we did not take the sort of clothes we would have taken to Ireland! This shot really summed up the place, at least in the rain.

I was pleased to be awarded photograph of the day at the cafe for this shot.

Jane made full use of the wet street in this POTD. The colours in the reflected light give the atmosphere of the place. This image has full detail throughout the scene in the blacks to the whites.
