Yes you plug in the reader to the mini dock and in the File option you can copy from the reader to the Archos disk. We're heading to europe for 4 months and although this device can backup photos can we delete them off the archos (ie: if some are blurry etc) and i assume you just plug it in the mini dock or battery dock and it detects the camera and asks you to copy? any info on this would be great as i dont want to part with $1000 if it doesnt do what it says. As long as you have the battery dock you should have no problems, I have not tried it with a multi-card reader, but it does work just fine with a single type reader.
